I'm pretty sure it's just a re-badged KTM built in Austria. I managed to meet up with a chap out on the road who was riding a 2016 Husky.
We chatted for sometime, he's a long time KTM guy. He showed me several instances where the Husky had KTM listed on the bike. Frame area etc.
I'll say it was a nice machine and he was quite pleased with it.
